Hidden Gems in the Panoramic State

Mysore king Chikkadevaraja built a fort, although now in ruins, called “Khumbi Betta”. That’s how the hill got its name! You can opt for a guided tour of the sanctuary and even go boating on the Gudavi Lake to get a closer look at these amazing birds. You have the option to visit the world-famous jog falls, which is just a few km from the bird sanctuary.

Jogimatti Forest: This is a scenic forest located just about 205 km from Bangalore. Jogmatti forest is a hill station widely known among the locals as a stunning natural paradise. The forest has a small zoo nearby called Adumalleshwar Zoo, which has a unique species of flora and fauna. The hill station offers a peaceful and serene environment, making it a great place for a relaxing getaway.

Maravanthe beach: Maravanthe beach is a combination of water and thick trees at its best. The place, still not quite widely known is best if experienced through the road.
